Amari Colombo has introduced its April programme at Ahāra, encouraging Colombo residents to take time out during weekends through a series of planned dining events.
The programme features six lunch buffets and nine dinner experiences throughout the month. Ahāra positions the initiative as an effort to present dining as a recurring weekend activity, with oceanfront brunches extending into the afternoon and evening dinners centred on conversation and varied flavours.
The month begins with an Easter-themed offering, followed by events scheduled for the mid-month period and concluding weekends. Each weekend has a separate focus, while maintaining a consistent theme across the series. According to the hotel, the aim is to provide experiences that continue to resonate with guests.
Ahāra highlights elements such as views of the skyline and open-kitchen service within its April series.
Speaking on the initiative, Amari Colombo General Manager Monty Ariyaratne shared:
“With April at Ahāra, we wanted to move beyond the conventional buffet offering and create something far more immersive – a weekend lifestyle ritual. Today’s guest is not simply looking to dine; they are seeking connection, atmosphere, and moments that stay with them.
This initiative is about curating those moments – where every weekend feels distinct, yet consistently memorable. Whether it’s a sunlit Easter gathering or an evening that unfolds over conversation and cuisine, Ahāra becomes a place guests return to – not out of habit, but because it feels like their weekend tradition.”
Amari Colombo stated that the initiative is intended to make weekends more experience-driven rather than centred solely on meals.
