A three-bus collision in the Madola area of Balangoda this morning (11) has caused injuries to several passengers, including schoolchildren. 

The accident occurred around 6:15 a.m. when a Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) bus, traveling from Pelmadulla to Balangoda, collided with two other buses—a private bus heading to Colombo and another SLTB bus. 

Paramedics transported the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment. 

Further investigations into the incident are underway.
