S.W. Chaturan Sanjeewa was elected as the president of the Southern Province Umpires Association on Sunday at their Annual General Meeting. 

He is a proud alumni of Dharmasoka College Ambalangoda. He has also captained in the first-class club arena while having umpired first class cricket. 

He is also the chairman of Forward Guard Security Services Company.
