The Appropriation Bill for the 2025 financial year was presented to Parliament today (9), outlining the Government’s proposed expenditure for the year from 1 January to 31 December 2025.

Accordingly, the total estimated Government expenditure for the 2025 financial year was set at Rs. 4,616 billion.
