Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya met members of the Sri Lankan community in London during her official visit to the United Kingdom.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, nearly 1,000 Sri Lankans from Sinhala, Tamil and Muslim communities attended the event held yesterday (20).

Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister stated that the government has stabilised the economy despite global and local challenges.

Minister Saroja Savithri Paulraj and Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner to the UK Nimal Senadheera also attended the event.
