Sri Lanka has recorded 1,813,484 tourist arrivals between 1 January and 22 October 2026, according to the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority.

A total of 119,805 tourists arrived during the first 22 days of October.

India remains the largest source market, with 482,944 arrivals, followed by the United Kingdom with 169,405 and China with 120,980.
