An islandwide tsunami mock drill will be held today (05) in line with World Tsunami Awareness Day.

Organized by the Indian Tsunami Early Warning Centre (ITEWC) with 28 member countries, the main exercise will take place in Kalutara at 8.30 a.m.

The drill involves the DMC, Met Department, Tri-Forces, Police, and other key agencies across Batticaloa, Kalutara, Galle, and Jaffna.
