Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, is arriving in Sri Lanka today (16) for a three-day visit from 16 to 18 February, 2026. 

During her stay, she will meet with government officials and key stakeholders to discuss ongoing recovery efforts following Cyclone Ditwah and ways the IMF can support Sri Lanka’s long-term resilience and development initiatives.
