Prime Minister(PM) Harini Amarasuriya has said Sri Lanka is recovering quickly from recent floods and landslides, crediting the resilience and solidarity of its people.
Speaking at a meeting with visiting representatives of India’s National Association of Software and Service Companies and the Sri Lanka Association of Software and Services Companies on 4 December in Colombo, she outlined ongoing reconstruction work with the World Bank and the United Nations.
She said the government remains committed to its target of 7% economic growth, with priorities including export diversification, public-sector digitalisation and expanding the digital economy.
