Special regulations have been introduced to protect Nildiya Pokuna, located within the Ravana Ella Sanctuary in Ella.

The Gazette notification was signed today under the Fauna and Flora Protection Ordinance.

Children under 10 are prohibited from entering the cave, while those aged 10 to 18 must be accompanied by a guardian.

Entering the pond, disposing of waste, using detergents, smoking, consuming alcohol and damaging rock surfaces are also prohibited.
