A container truck overturned near Gonapola Junction on the Horana–Colombo Road early this morning (29), obstructing one lane, according to Moragahahena Police.

The accident occurred around 1.00 a.m. as the truck was travelling from the Horana Export Processing Zone towards Colombo Port.

Police suspect the truck overturned while negotiating a bend at the same speed.
