The Election Commission revealed that the list of additional members for the recently held 2025 local Government (LG) elections will be forwarded for official publication in the Gazette.

According to the EC, the deadline for political parties and independent groups to submit their additional member nominations concluded at midnight yesterday (30).

Accordingly, the relevant political parties submitted nominations for the positions of Chairman, Mayor, and Deputy Mayor in 161 LG institutions.
