CHEC Port City Colombo has donated Rs. 10 million to support Sri Lanka’s recovery from Cyclone Ditwah, the company said on 16 December.
The contribution, handed to the Treasury through the Ministry of Finance, will be used for long-term reconstruction and restoration of critical infrastructure, with facilitation by the Colombo Port City Economic Commission.
In addition, the company has mobilised 12 disaster-response machines and is providing engineering expertise for debris clearance, emergency repairs and road reconstruction, alongside skilled personnel for on-ground assistance.
