Tourist arrivals to Sri Lanka have exceeded 1.7 million for 2025, according to the latest data from the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA).

As of 28 September 2025, a total of 1,715,196 foreign nationals had arrived in the country.

This strong performance signifies a positive recovery and steady growth for the nation's tourism sector.
