Dates for the 78th Bradby Shield encounter between Trinity College and Royal College have been confirmed. The first leg will be played at the Royal College Sports Complex on 24 August while the return Kandy leg will take place on 7 September at the Trinity College Rugby Stadium in Pallekele.

Trinity is led by centre Anuhas Kodituwakku while Royal is led by Thivain Perera. 

The Chief Guest for the Colombo leg will be 1985 Royal skipper Chiranjaya Nanayakkara, while the Kandy leg will see 1985 Trinity skipper Manoj Jayatissa as the Chief Guest, according to their availability.
