Over 25,000 dengue cases and 13 deaths have been reported in Sri Lanka this year, with Colombo and Gampaha among the hardest-hit districts. 

Health authorities are urging the public to eliminate mosquito breeding grounds and seek prompt medical attention for fever and related symptoms as the monsoon heightens transmission risk.
