A World Health Organization (World Health Organization) expert team has arrived in Sri Lanka to review ongoing health system reforms.
The team met Minister of Health Dr.Nalinda Jayatissa today(20) to assess progress on the government’s healthcare programme.
Discussions focused on the development of Arogya Health and Wellness Centres and the digitalisation of primary healthcare services.
The WHO team will remain in Sri Lanka until 24 April and submit recommendations to strengthen the health system.
