The Qatar Charity has initiated a program to provide free fertilizers to 3,746 farming families across Kurunegala, Matale, and Monaragala districts. 

The Ministry of Agriculture and Plantation Industries and Qatar Charity signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). 

Each selected farming family will receive a 25 kg bale of urea, Triple superphosphate(TSP), and Muriate of Potash (MOP) fertilizers. 

This initiative aims to improve the living conditions of farmers and address the current economic challenges.
