Sri Lanka has welcomed 145,188 tourists so far in July, according to data from the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA).

India remains the leading source, contributing 27,786 visitors in July and a total of 269,780 for the year. The UK followed with 16,750 arrivals in July and 124,652 overall.

Other key markets this month included the Netherlands (10,809), France (7,732), and China (5,904).

Total tourist arrivals in 2025 have now reached 1,313,232, highlighting a steady recovery in the tourism sector.
