Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya has called for greater investment in human capital, lifelong learning and workforce development to support Sri Lanka’s long-term economic growth.
Addressing the 25th anniversary of the Association of Human Resource Professionals, she stressed the need to align education, vocational training and employment with changing industry requirements.
The Prime Minister also highlighted the importance of digital literacy, technical education, reskilling and upskilling to prepare Sri Lanka’s workforce for future job demands.
