President Anura Kumara Dissanayake urged businesses and citizens to act collectively to address the economic impact of the ongoing Middle East crisis.

He noted that rising global oil prices and supply chain disruptions could affect Sri Lanka’s economy.

The President stated that the government has established an Economic Monitoring Committee and is engaging with friendly countries to maintain supply chains.
