A total of 36 road accidents were reported to the National Hospital of Sri Lanka during 13 and 14 April.
Hospital authorities stated that two individuals died due to these accidents.
Nineteen accidents were reported on 13 April, while 17 were recorded on 14 April, which marked the Sinhala and Tamil New Year.
Meanwhile, 35 assault-related incidents were also reported during the same period.
Authorities noted that 14 cases were reported on 13 April, while 21 incidents were recorded between yesterday and this morning.
