The Sri Lanka Coast Guard conducted a joint search operation with the Special Boat Squadron and Wennappuwa Police in Nainamadama, Wennappuwa on 20 March.

Over 800 litres of ‘Goda’, prepared for illegal liquor production, were taken into custody.

The seized stock was destroyed, while empty barrels were handed over to Wennappuwa Police for legal action.
