The Consumer Affairs Authority has reminded traders to keep proper invoices and documents verifying the source of goods held for sale, storage or distribution.

The requirement has been in force since 27 April 2022 under CAA Order No. 83.

The CAA warned that goods may be seized and legal action taken if traders cannot provide the required records during inspections.
