The 2025 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup continues today (2) with the third match between Pakistan Women and Bangladesh Women at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo.

This marks the first World Cup match hosted in Sri Lanka during the tournament. Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced free entry for spectators to promote women’s cricket and encourage public participation.

Both teams are yet to win a Women’s World Cup title, making this clash vital for early momentum.

Pakistan, led by Fatima Sana, will feature key players like Aliya Riaz, Muneeba Ali, Sadia Iqbal, and Nashra Sandhu. Bangladesh, under Nigar Sultana, will rely on Nahida Akter, Ritu Moni, Shorna Akter, and Sowmya Akter.

In ODI history, the two sides have faced each other five times, with Bangladesh winning three and Pakistan two matches. The game is scheduled to start at 3:00 PM local time
