Navin Dissanayake has been appointed as the Vice President of the United National Party (UNP).

The appointment was made by UNP leader and former President Ranil Wickremesinghe during the party’s Working Committee meeting held yesterday(14).

Dissanayake, a prominent political figure, is the son of the late Gamini Dissanayake, a former Leader of the Opposition and Presidential candidate.
