The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) reports a shortage of 180 essential medicines at the central drug store, including painkillers, antibiotics, and drugs for diabetes, hypertension, and kidney disease.

Over 50 of these are also lacking in hospitals.

A critical cancer medication has been in short supply for months, limiting patient treatment.

The situation is reportedly worsening.
