The Irrigation Department has issued an Amber flood warning for the Gin Ganga Basin, with minor flooding possible within the next 24 hours.

Low-lying areas in the Gin Ganga valley within the Thawalama, Nagoda, Baddegama and Welivitiya-Divithura Divisional Secretariat Divisions may be affected.

Residents and motorists in the identified areas have been urged to exercise extreme caution and remain vigilant.
