Litro Gas Company Chairperson Channa Gunawardana said that the prices of its domestic liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders will remain unchanged for this month.

Accordingly, the existing prices of LPG cylinders will continue to apply throughout July. The prices for domestic LPG cylinders in the Colombo District are as follows: 12.5 kg gas cylinder – Rs. 3,690, 5 kg gas cylinder – Rs. 1,482, and 2.3 kg gas cylinder – Rs. 694.

Earlier yesterday (1), Laugfs Gas Public Limited Company announced that the company will not revise domestic LPG prices for this month. This was announced by Laugfs Gas PLC Cluster Director/Chief Executive Officer Dr. Niroshan J Peiris. Prices remained unchanged in May and last month (June) as well. During the April revision, the price of a 12.5 kg cylinder was increased by Rs. 420 to Rs. 4,100, while a 5 kg cylinder was increased by Rs.168 to Rs. 1,645.
