A satyagraha demanding the release of imprisoned Venerable Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thero entered its ninth consecutive day today (24 October) at Viharamahadevi Park in Colombo.

A group of Buddhist monks launched the protest on 16 October and has remained at the site continuously since its commencement.
