Eighteen people were injured this morning (18) in Meennana, Eheliyagoda, when a passenger bus collided with a container truck on the Colombo–Ratnapura main road. Traffic was disrupted for about an hour. 

All injured were admitted to Eheliyagoda Base Hospital with no serious injuries reported. 

Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
