Cabinet reshuffle: Keheliya shifted from Health Ministry

In a Cabinet reshuffle that unfolded this morning (23), President Ranil Wickremesinghe has made changes to his administration.

Prominent among the reshuffle is the appointment of former Minister of Health Keheliya Rambukwella as Minister of Environment.

It is worth noting that Rambukwella faced a Motion of No Confidence not too long ago.

Dr. Ramesh Pathirana has taken charge as the new Minister of Health.

The Agriculture and Plantation Industries, now sees Mahinda Amaraweera at its helm.

State Minister of Finance Ranjith Siyambalapitiya was appointed the non-cabinet Minister of Plantation Enterprises.
