Saif Yusoof of Expolanka Group was elected president of the Mercantile Football Association (MFA) for a two-year term (2026-28) during their recently held Annual General Meeting at the Royal College Union Skills Centre, Colombo 7.

George Weerakkody from Ceylinco General Insurance and Ruwanjith Bandara from Commercial Bank were elected secretary and treasurer, respectively.

Formed in 1918, the MFA has long played a key role in promoting football across Sri Lanka’s Mercantile sector.
