A woman was arrested in Denipitiya, Matara on 27 April for selling AKUGABALIN-150 capsules.

The arrest was carried out by the Sri Lanka Coast Guard with officers of the National Medicines Regulatory Authority (NMRA).

She was found in possession of 765 capsules at the time of arrest.

The suspect and the capsules were handed over to the NMRA office in Matara for legal proceedings.
