A high-level inquiry into alleged misconduct by suspended Inspector General of Police (IGP) Deshabandu Tennakoon begins daily hearings today (16). 

Chaired by Supreme Court (SC)Justice P. P. Surasena, the committee will examine evidence from the Attorney General’s (AG) Department and Tennakoon’s legal team, following Parliament’s resolution under the Removal of Officers Act.
