Starting from today (19), the Ministry of Digital Economy has introduced a new feature to make obtaining fuel QR codes easier for vehicle owners.

This update addresses challenges faced by users whose original mobile numbers are no longer in use or who encounter difficulties in re-registering their vehicles.

The new process allows owners to verify their vehicle by entering the correct vehicle and chassis numbers. Even if the vehicle was registered under a different phone number, owners can now cancel the existing registration and re-register it under their current details. 

By selecting the ‘Override’ option, the previous registration and data will be removed, and a new account will be activated instantly, giving the rightful owner quick access to the QR code. 

This feature aims to streamline the process and ensure vehicle owners can easily obtain their QR codes, especially in cases where the vehicle was registered under inactive or previous owners’ information.
