Prime Minister(PM) Harini Amarasuriya stated that steps are being taken to bring preschool education under a unified framework with a standard curriculum and systematic teacher training.

She made the remarks at the launch of the National Communication Programme for Child Health Promotion at Temple Trees yesterday (11).

The programme is organised by government institutions with UNICEF and the Clean Sri Lanka Programme.
