The Ministry of Energy has dismissed reports claiming that power cuts will be imposed due to issues with coal supplies at the Lakvijaya Coal Power Plant in Norochcholai.
The Ministry said 22 out of 36 ordered coal shipments have already been unloaded and the plant is operating normally, while the remaining supplies arek expected without interruption.
It also noted that furnace oil stocks are available until the end of April.
Authorities urged the public not to be misled by false information regarding potential power cuts.
