Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa has announced a major anti-government rally in Nugegoda on 21 November, aimed at holding the current administration accountable for its policy promises.

Rajapaksa confirmed that several opposition parties are participating in the

initiative.

Following a meeting at a UNP party office, the United National Party (UNP) and the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) have both agreed to join the demonstration.

The rally is intended to remind the government of the commitments it made to the people, with Rajapaksa noting that many people affected by current government policies are expected to join.
