The Sri Lanka Petroleum Private Tanker Owners’ Association noted that fuel distribution will continue today (01) and tomorrow (02), despite the holiday period.

Executive committee member D.V. Shantha Silva stated that Sri Lanka has sufficient fuel stocks for the next 37 days.

He noted that the Indian Oil Corporation had arranged regular distribution for the extended weekend.

The Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminals Ltd. has confirmed fuel distribution on Poya Day tomorrow.

The association urged the public not to panic over fuel availability.
