Sri Lanka received $ 729 million in workers’ remittances in February 2026, according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
This marks an increase of $180.9 million compared to $548.1 million recorded in February 2025, though it is slightly lower than the $751.1 million received in January 2026.
The Central Bank also said total remittances from January to February 2026 reached $1.48 billion, reflecting a 32% increase compared to the same period last year.
