More than 1,000 individuals were arrested on Saturday (22) during the nationwide operation launched to eradicate drugs under the theme ‘A Nation United’ national drive.

During these operations, the Police seized 319 g of heroin, 1 kg and 585 g of crystal methamphetamine (also known as ‘Ice’), 2 kg and 586 g of hashish, cocaine, and several other toxic drugs. The Police have obtained detention orders against 21 suspects for further investigations, while 29 others have been sent for rehabilitation, the Police said.
