Sri Lanka Police has launched an online platform titled ‘Tell IGP’ to allow the public to submit complaints directly to the Inspector General of Police.
The service enables local and foreign individuals to lodge complaints in Sinhala, Tamil or English via the official Police website and e-services portal.
Complaints can relate to organised crime, drug trafficking, general offences, traffic violations, public harassment and corruption.
Police noted that relevant divisions will assign officers for investigation, and complainants may notify the IGP again if issues are not addressed.
