The Department of Census and Statistics says Colombo's annual inflation, measured by the Colombo Consumer Price Index (CCPI), increased to 6.8% in June 2026 from 5.5% in May.

Food inflation rose to 3.6% in June, up from 0.9% in May.

Non-food inflation also increased, rising to 8.4% from 7.8% in the previous month.
