The Joint Council for Professions of Supplementary Medicine has announced the temporary suspension of its planned island-wide token strike scheduled for tomorrow (22).
The council cited a discussion with the Acting Secretary of the Ministry of Health as the reason for halting the strike.
The strike was initially planned in protest of delays in addressing long-standing concerns, which the council said had gone unresolved for two months.
Services under the council’s purview will now proceed as normal tomorrow.
