Tharushi Karunarathna will be representing Sri Lanka at the women’s 800m running event at the 2024 Paris Olympics. 

Karunarathna will participate in the sixth heats, which will take place from 11.15 pm onwards local time tomorrow (2). 

While all of Sri Lanka might be looking at her in hopes of securing another Olympic medal, it is important to treat this as a valuable experience for the 19-year-old athlete.
