A close associate of organised crime suspect Prasad Chathuranga Kodagoda, also known as ‘Dubai Sudda’, has been arrested by the Panadura Division Crime Investigation Unit.

The Police have also taken into custody 4,665 mg of crystal methamphetamine (also known as ‘Ice’) that was found in his possession. The Police stated that the suspect was apprehended according to the information revealed during an investigation into two stolen motorcycles.

The Police also suspect that the individual is connected to the drug network operated by ‘Dubai Sudda’ through the ‘eZ Cash’ system and via WhatsApp. Further investigations are ongoing.
