Newly appointed Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy Vice Admiral Damian Fernando and Inspector General of Police Priyantha Weerasooriya held their first official meeting at Police Headquarters.

The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between the Sri Lanka Navy and Sri Lanka Police, including naval support for maintaining law and order, combating drug-related activities and preventing illegal operations.

The meeting was held following Vice Admiral Fernando’s appointment as the 27th Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy.
