The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced a 12-hour water cut in several areas of Negombo from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. today (7) due to urgent maintenance work at the Periyamulla water tower.

The affected areas include Periyamulla, Eththukala, Kudapaduwa, Dalupotha, Kattuwa, Lewis Place, Sellakanda Road, and Wella Street.

Residents are advised to store adequate water in advance and use it sparingly during the interruption period.
