Former Minister Mervyn Silva has been indicted by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) before the Colombo High Court (HC) for possessing cash and assets exceeding Rs. 800 million, allegedly beyond his declared income.

He was granted bail after the charges were filed.
